As a responsible company working in the golf-cart industry, MEE are committed to promoting the safe use of the vehicles for both pleasure and business purposes. We are members of the National Golf Cart Association, an organization dedicated to reducing the number of serious and fatal accidents involving golf carts.

A study by the American forensic engineering experts Technology Associates (www.technology-assoc.com) found that the risk of ejection from golf carts was substantial in those not fitted with seatbelts, and was further increased if the passenger was a child. One of the most common occurences of this is when the driver performs a sharp turn which the passenger is not prepared for and loses their balance and falls out. Other studies have estimated that in the USA there are approximately 7,500 instances of this per year where the passenger then has to spend at least a week in hospital.
