Safety - Acrylic

Acrylic is a useful, clear plastic that resembles glass but has properties that make it supoerior to glass in many ways. It is chosen over glass for many reasons including:

• It can be shatter resistant
• It is many times stronger than glass which makes it more impact-resistant and therefore safer
• It is half the weight of glass
• It is more trapsparent than glass (93%)
• It is more weater-resistant than glass
